Miriam and Lydia Harris are sisters who both grew up on the family farm near Ipplepen in South Devon.
They have always been involved in farm family life but both went into teaching. Lydia is a secondary sports teacher and Miriam is a part-time primary teacher and mum. They are passionate about the outdoors and education and are excited to combine the two in this adventurous and explorative opportunity in the natural surroundings at Battleford Farm this summer. Both Miriam and Lydia have a breadth of experience in education and in running sports/activity holiday clubs in previous years but now want to incorporate more farm and nature based adventure!
Snacks and drinks will be provided mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Please provide your child with a packed lunch and a drinks bottle.

From the A381 driving from newton towards Totnes you reach Red Post garage on your left, you need to turn right down a lane. Continue down the lane until the first right turning onto a farm track (if you reach Redpost Reeds you’ve gone too far!) follow this farm track down for a few minutes passing some old barns and wiggling around the fields. You will then come to a left turn signposted Battleford Farm, we are down there!
